THE question that haunts Khloé Kardashian may have finally been put to bed. A Star source reports that Khloé recently received word that she’s not the daughter of the late Robert Kardashian, but of his close friend, disgraced football star O.J. Simpson instead — and that the bombshell came straight from The Juice himself! The source spills that O.J., 71, who settled in Las Vegas following his October release from a nine-year prison stint for robbery and kidnapping, no longer feels he has anything to hide — he believes the heavily circulated rumor to be true: He is her biological dad. According to our tipster, Khloé, 34, who gave birth last spring to daughter True (with boyfriend Tristan Thompson), may have traveled to Vegas specifically for a sit-down meeting with O.J. “Khloé had brushed this off for so long, but becoming a mom made her realize that it’s important to know the truth [about her lineage],” says the source. “Apparently, it was a pretty tense and tearful confrontation, but Khloé is finally on the path to learning the truth.”
SEARCHING FOR THE TRUTH As the tallest, lightest-haired Kardashiklan anomaly, Khloé’s genetics have long been the subject of scrutiny — not just from the media, but from within the famous family itself. On a 2009 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloé declared that she felt like her mom, Kris Jenner, treated her differently than she did sisters Kim and Kourtney, and took it upon herself to submit a DNA test, ensuring that Kris is her mother. Kris, 63, has opened up about “fooling around” during her 13-year marriage to Robert — which ultimately ended as a result of her infidelities. A source recalled that while married, Kris and Robert were dear friends with O.J. and his wife,
Nicole Brown — of whose murder O.J. was acquitted in 1995 during the “trial of the century” thanks to his “dream team” of lawyers, which famously included steadfast pal Robert — and the foursome regularly partied and vacationed together in the ’80s! “O.J., Nicole, Robert and Kris were all wild back then,” the source told Star in 2012, adding that “Kris crossed the line and slept with O.J. more than once.” Star also previously reported that Robert’s second wife, Jan Ashley, recalled that Robert was never convinced Khloé was his daughter. Similarly, Robert’s third wife, Ellen (née Pearson), to whom he was married at the time of his death in 2003, claimed that while Robert loved Khloé as his own, he harbored doubts about her paternity... and that Khloé herself often talked and wondered about whether Robert was her dad! Star’s latest source claims that in the years since, Khloé has never stopped wondering — and simply needs the truth. “Khloé will turn 35 this year and wants to settle the matter,” says the insider. “She may be planning to take [another] DNA test — with O.J. now free, it makes sense that she’d want to get to the bottom of this once and for all. If the test proves that O.J. really is her dad, she may want him to be in True’s life, too.” But while Khloé may be eager for a resolution, the tipster warns she should proceed with caution. “O.J. can see how successful the Kardashians have become over the past decade, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he wanted to cash in on that,” dishes the insider. Still, Khloé seems determined and prepared for any outcome — as long as she gets some definitive answers. “She’s always wondered if there was a tiny chance this could be true,” adds a close pal. “No one knows how she’ll react, but at least now she has a chance to get closure.”
