MIRANDA’S HISTORY OF TOXIC ROMANCES
Miranda began dating the country singer and songwriter in 2006; the two were engaged in May 2010 and married a year later in Texas. But after announcing their separation in 2015, rumors soon spread that the “Over You” singer had stepped out on Blake, 42, during their four-year marriage. In his 2016 song “She’s Got a Way With Words,” he references a “lying, cheating” ex — and later, when Miranda and Anderson East broke up, Blake tweeted what seemed like a jab at his former spouse, saying, “Been taking the high road for a long time… I almost gave up... but I can finally see something on the horizon… Yep!! It’s karma!!”
Miranda’s rebound relationship with the singer, 30, seemed built to last — at first. But by January 2018, he was hinting that distance was taking a toll on their relationship. “It’s always difficult to be a traveling musician and still keep things together,” he said at the time. “Understanding is definitely a huge factor.” Three months later, after more than two years of dating, they announced they were officially dunzo, with Miranda telling fans at a show that she was heartbroken.
On the heels of her breakup from Anderson, in April 2018 Miranda moved on with the Turnpike Troubadours singer, who was married to wife Staci Nelson at the time of their hookup. Things got superdramatic when Staci revealed on social media that Evan, 35, had called her while dating Miranda — and that Miranda was also calling her to check up on her man. (The country singer reportedly once called Staci 20 times in a row!) They finally called it quits in August, around the same time the Troubadours stopped opening for Miranda’s tour.
