DESTROYED BY GREED

THE CAST WILL GET BACK TOGETHER UNDER ONE CONDITION — THAT THE CASH COMES ROLLING IN.

JENNIFER Aniston is ready and willing to star in a Friends reunion after telling Ellen DeGeneres, “I would do it!” — but she and her pals are looking for a lot of perks if it’s going to happen. A source tells Star that the only thing holding up the hit sitcom’s original six stars — Jennifer, 50, Courteney Cox, 55, Lisa Kudrow, 55, David Schwimmer, 52, Matt LeBlanc, 51, and Matthew Perry, 49 — from making a comeback are their astronomical cash demands. “There have been negotiations, but all of them are demanding unrealistic fees going into the tens of millions,” spills an insider. “What’s crazy is, they each make $20 million a year in reruns already.” On top of that, Netflix reportedly paid Warner Bros. $100 million last December to keep Friends streaming — and the cast all got a juicy cut.

It was Jen and her real-life pal

Courteney who got the ball rolling. “They spearheaded the reunion and then Lisa and Matt got on board,” says the insider. “David and Matthew were dragging their feet for the longest time but they’ve changed their tune. Now they’re all banding together and holding out for a megamillion-dollar deal.” Another sticking point is when and where the project will be shot — and who will be at the helm. “They all want their beloved director, James Burrows, even though he’s getting up there in age,” dishes the source, who says Jen’s rumored feud with series cocreator Marta Kauffman could also prove problematic. “Jen’s willing to let bygones be bygones, so the biggest hurdle is still the money. It’s a shame, because everyone wants it to happen.”
