THE ACTRESS IS GOING TO EXTREMES IN A DESPERATE ATTEMPT TO SAVE HER CHILDREN FROM SCIENTOLOGY.
NICOLE Kidman’s efforts to get in touch with her adopted children, Isabella and Connor, from her marriage with ex Tom Cruise is proving to be harder than she imagined. According to a Star source, the kids are moving deeper into the world of Scientology, and Nicole is determined to bring them to their senses before she loses them forever to the controversial church.
“Things are getting very hot for Scientology right now,” says the insider, noting how an ex-member’s recent lawsuit against the organization and its
leader, David Miscavige, citing alleged abuse and human trafficking, sparked Nicole’s urgency. “She wants Connor and Isabella to be out of harm’s way when the storm hits.”
The Big Little Lies star, 52, has started writing letters to Isabella, 26, and Connor, 24, the source says, but is having a hard time getting them in their hands. “With Bella, word is she’s trying to get to her via her husband Max Parker’s parents. They aren’t Scientologists — or at least they weren’t when Bella married Max — so Nicole is hoping she can appeal to a parent’s sensibilities. She also messages Bella on Instagram, but apparently the notes have never been read.”
As for Connor, communicating with him is even more of a challenge. “Connor’s surrounded by Scientologists down in Florida,” reports the insider. “Nicole knows that Connor lives on a church resort, and any correspondence addressed to him would be intercepted.” While a representative for the Church of Scientology denies Star’s story, “Nicole won’t give up,” the source insists. “She doesn’t want to frighten them, but she needs them to know that she loves and cares for them.”
