RELEASED FROM PRISON!

AFTER SERVING EIGHT MONTHS FOR TAX EVASION, JERSEY SHORE’S MIKE SORRENTINO IS PUMPED TO START LIVING HIS BEST LIFE .

-

Home sweet home! After eight months in the big house, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is a free man. On Sept. 12, the Jersey Shore star walked through the gates of Otisville Correctional Institution in NewYork, where he’d been locked up since January for tax evasion — and straight into the arms of his wife, Lauren. “We are elated to finally close this chapter of our life,” the couple said in a joint statement, thanking family, friends and fans for the “continuous love and support [that] brought us so much peace and comfort.” Later that day, a giddy Mike gleefully tweeted, “Turn up we free!!!” But before he gets back to his GTL routine, “his plan is to sit on the couch for a few days and eat,” a pal tells Star. “Honestly. Lauren has already made sure to stock up on all his favorite foods.”

GANGING UP

A reunion with his castmates could also be in the works. Two days before Mike’s release, several production vehicles were spotted hauling equipment into the same house where he and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Vinny Guadagnino and Jenni “JWoww” Farley — who were there to support him during the court proceedings and tried to get a presidential pardon for his early release — shot scenes for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. Tops on Mike’s to-do list, however, is some quality time with Lauren. The couple, who wed in November 2018, are eager to start a family. “I would love a boy first,” the Dancing With the Stars alum, 37, revealed shortly after their nuptials. “We’re excited for little Situations!” Adds the pal: “They’re going to start trying right away. If things work out, it’s going to be gym, tan and diapers!”★
