Wants to Get Back With Ben Affleck! The Alias alum has had a change of heart about reconciling with her ex-husband.

NOW that Jennifer Garner has broken things off with John Miller, she’s telling friends “never say never” when it comes to a romantic reconciliation with ex-husband Ben Affleck. “Jennifer misses that family life, and home has never been the same without Ben in it. She’s always believed in second chances — even third and fourth chances, if needed,” a friend tells Star. “They’ve talked about getting back together, but it’s still in the discussion stage.” The Alias alum, 47, had a change of heart after seeing the progress the Justice League actor, 47, has made while committing to sobriety. “Jen tried to work things out with Ben before, but his addiction always got in the way,” says the confidant. “But it’s different now: Ben’s serious about staying sober, which is huge. It’s helped Jen to be able to open up her heart to him again.” In the meantime, the exes — who share Violet, 13, Seraphina, 10, and Samuel, 7 — are content just enjoying each other’s company, with or without their children. In fact, Ben has been “lingering at Jen’s house after dropping off the kids” more and more. And though their kids are thrilled at the prospect of Mommy and Daddy getting back together, the two are still proceeding with caution. “They’ve always cared for each other and stayed connected because of the kids, but things are heading in a different direction,” adds the pal. “Jen’s feeling good about the future — and there’s no doubt Ben’s going to have a big part in it.”
