She built on her success with the family-friendly series When Calls the Heart, which she starred in from 2014 to 2019. “I feel very blessed,” she said of working on the show.
As the college admissions scandal broke, the star was taken into custody on March 12 for allegedly paying bribes to get her daughter into USC. Her bail was set at $1 million.
DEFIANT AT COURT
During an April court appearance, a smiling Lori signed autographs and posed for selfies with fans outside the courtroom. The Queens, N.Y., native was criticized for not showing any remorse.
As the case dragged on, tension began building between Lori and her husband, Mossimo, with reports claiming that Lori blamed him for convincing her to plead not guilty.
