WHEN Elena (Scott) discovers the company she works for is planning to use its advanced technology as a weapon, she reaches out to Charlie Townsend’s detective agency for help. But the scientist gets more than she bargains for when she’s caught up in the action and whisked away by Jane (Balinska), an international spy who introduces her to her colleague Sabina (Stewart). The ladies bring Elena to meet Bosley (Banks), who oversees the Townsend Agency’s many global teams. Bosley quickly enlists Elena and sends the newly formed Charlie’s Angels on a mission. The trio soon find themselves involved in a sticky situation that requires both their butt-kicking skills and serious smarts. “It’s not like there are these three unattainable women who can fly or do kung fu while suspended in the air,” Stewart says of the Angels. “These girls are actually smart and [the film is] about women who are friends and who are good people working together.”
