Khloé Kardashian Confesses: “I Want Lamar Back!”

KHLOÉ Kardashian was speaking straight from the heart. On the Oct. 27 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the reality star spilled the details of a call she received from her former husband, Lamar Odom. “He was, like… ‘I’ve been dying to see you,’” she revealed before confessing that she’d also been longing to reconnect. “I love Lamar,” Khloé said wistfully. “I miss him all the time.” Indeed, the reality star’s feelings for her “Lammy” run so deep that those closest to her believe a reunion — and maybe even a reconciliation — could be just around the corner. “It’s an open secret among her friends and family that Lamar is the only man she’s considered to be her soulmate,” an insider says, adding that Khloé, 35, has stayed in close contact with the former NBA star, 40, ever since their tumultuous marriage finally fell apart three years ago (she’d previously called off a divorce in 2013) amid rumors of his cheating and ongoing drug addiction. “Even though things got pretty heated, Khloé never stopped caring for him. They’ve been texting and talking a lot on FaceTime — and they open up about everything.”

That includes her devastating breakup with Tristan Thompson last February, when Khloé leaned on Lamar after learning that the basketball pro, 28, had cheated on her with her sister Kylie Jenner’s best friend, Jordyn Woods, 22, while Khloé was pregnant with their baby, True. “Ironically, it was Lamar who implored her to give him a break,” the source dishes. “He told Khloé everyone deserves a second chance.”

While he hasn’t told her in so many words, Lamar is hoping he’ll get a second chance as well. “He’s constantly telling Khloé how wonderful she is and that it was the biggest mistake of his life to cheat on her and give in to those dark temptations,” explains the pal, referring to Lamar’s near-fatal drug overdose in October 2015, when he was found comatose in a Nevada brothel — and Khloé, from whom he was already estranged, rushed to his hospital bed and helped him throughout his recovery. “It would’ve been easy for her to be, like, ‘Figure it out on your own,’ but she stuck with me,” Lamar told Star. “She was like an angel.” (She ended up refiling for divorce in May 2016.)

DECISION TIME

Now clean and sober, Lamar, who sang his ex’s praises in his 2019 memoir, Darkness to Light, is waiting for her to make the first move. “Oh, my baby girl! — I was on top of the world,” he gushed to Star about their time together. “Of course I’m open to it.” As for Khloé, she’s torn — even more so since Lamar went public with his new girlfriend, life coach Sabrina Parr, 32, last August. “I really don’t know what the right thing to do in this situation is,” she admitted to sisters Kim and Kourtney. “But he’s such a huge part of my life.”

Adds the source: “Everyone will tell you that if Khloé gave Lamar so much as a hint that she’d take him back, he’d be running into her arms in a heartbeat.” And the Kardashian clan wouldn’t stand in their way. “They’ve forgiven him, but they’re still wary og his baggage and all the pain
