Kim’s HAPPY PLACE!

SINCE KANYE WEST HAS MOVED OUT, KIM KARDASHIAN IS FINALLY FREE TO ARRANGE HER LIFE — AND ALL-WHITE HOUSE — AS SHE PLEASES.

-

CALL it a comeback: Just over a month after filing for divorce from Kanye West, Kim Kardashian is finally feeling like her old self. And, a Star insider reports, in the wake of the power duo’s split, the 40-yearold is also beginning to realize just how much her nine-year relationship (and seven-year marriage) with the appearance-obsessed and unstable rapper dictated her choices — from fashion to loyalties to lifestyle — and is now having a blast reclaiming herself. “Kim has a new peace now,” says an insider. “A sense of lightheartedness.”

And a flair for fun: Just check out the whimsical miniature town Kim recently built for the couple’s four kids North, 7, Saint, 5, Chicago, 3, and Psalm, 1. Complete with a KKW shop, the playscape offers a riot of color in the backyard of the famously minimalist, all-white home she shared with her ex. “Life is so much more simple and drama-free now that she doesn’t have to walk on eggshells around Kanye,” explains the source, noting that the 43-year-old has moved “most if not all of his stuff ” out of the Calabasas, Calif., pad. Things are changing inside as well. Whereas before the split, “Kanye would snap and react badly to the smallest things and the atmosphere was miserable,” says the insider. “That’s over. The kids are being encouraged to let loose more — and even make messes!”

NEW ATTITUDE

Kanye’s control over Kim notoriously came in hot. Soon after the longtime friends started dating in 2012, the “Gold Digger” singer introduced her to couture designers, invited her to her first Met Gala and famously overhauled her flashy wardrobe in front of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians cameras. He dumped “everything he thought ‘wasn’t cool enough’ in a pile,” Kim lamented. “And I started crying.” Kanye was the reason Kim dyed her trademark raven locks blonde in 2017; why her closet was drained of its former pops of color and replaced by the beige and gray neutrals of Kanye’s Yeezy aesthetic; and why the $20 million home they scouted and ultimately bought — which Kim described as “perfection” and Kanye deemed “workable” — required another $20 million in renovations to capture his stark “Belgian monastery” vision.

More troubling, Kim blindly defended her husband’s troubling choices, from incendiary tweets and celeb feuds, to a failed presidential bid and erratic rants that included comparing Kris Jenner to Kim Jong-Un and claiming Kim almost aborted North. “Those who are close with Kanye know his heart,” she insisted. Free from her ex’s strictures, the reality vet can see the bright side of life, and the future is wide open. As she pursues her legal career and KUWTK’s last season winds down, says the insider, “Kim’s excited to be back in the groove of expressing herself for her own sake.”
