Tori Spelling & Dean McDermott: On the Rocks!

A source tells Star that the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum’s marriage is hanging by a thread.

She was toting a heart-shaped Louis Vuitton purse on an errands run in L.A. July 11, but Tori Spelling definitely wasn’t feeling the love: Her wedding band was missing. Six days later, her husband of 15 years, Dean McDermott, stepped out, also sans the telltale jewelry. And it wasn’t the first time either of them forgot their rings. “They haven’t really bothered to hide the truth,” says a source. “They’re going through a very rough time right now.”

The 90210 alum recently revealed that she and Dean — who sought treatment for sex addiction after a cheating scandal in 2014 — are sleeping in separate beds. “Right now, my kids and dogs sleep in my bed” while Dean is in “another room,” Tori, 48, admitted on Sirius XM’s

Jeff Lewis Live show in June when asked about their famously frisky relationship. The odd arrangement started while the actor, 54, was in Canada for six months filming the TV show Pretty Hard Cases, she explained. (The family even had to pose for their holiday card without him, due to pandemic travel restrictions, and he’s also been mostly absent from her social media feed.) “Tori’s really unhappy with the status quo. She’s been losing weight, which usually happens when she’s stressed,” says the source. “And they’ve both been complaining to friends that the spark is gone, even though they did go on a beach trip in May to celebrate their anniversary and Mother’s Day.”

That was mostly for the sake of their children: Liam, 14, Stella, 13, Hattie, 9, Finn, 8 and Beau, 4. “They don’t seem to have much in common anymore except the kids, which is why they’re keeping it amicable as they figure out where to go from here,” says the source. “But the writing is on the wall: Their friends think the marriage is over.” ★
