DOUBLE the fun? Angelina Jolie left fans perplexed with her bilevel ’do at the Oct. 24 Eternals premiere in Rome. The actress, who plays Thena in the flick, stunned in a form-fitting silver gown by Versace. But as she walked the red carpet alongside daughters Zahara, 16, and Shiloh, 15, the mom-of-six’s choppy waist-length extensions quickly went viral. “How do you let angelina jolie walk a red carpet with her hair extensions looking like this,” asked one Twitter user. “Somebody getting fired.”
Beauty experts quickly weighed in, with most surmising that the 46-yearold’s glam squad had failed to blend her below-the-shoulder length natural locks with the add-ins. Basically, there weren’t enough and they were installed too low.
The off-kilter look left a fan wondering, “Did one of the children get angry and take a scissors to her hair in the middle of the night.”
The fashion faux pas isn’t the only bad buzz connected to the Marvel movie. Critics have complained that the star-packed film (Kit Harington and Salma Hayek also star) has “too much going on,” yet isn’t “particularly exciting.” Angie’s kids, who have joined her at several premieres, have no such qualms. Dodging a reporter’s question about their opinion of her relationship with rapper The Weeknd, she switched topics to their take on her work: “They’re very excited about this film, if that’s what you’re asking.” ★
