The son of martial arts great Bruce Lee, Brandon was killed when a prop gun — a real Smith & Wesson revolver — was improperly checked before a scene in which the 28-yearold faced off with a bad guy attempting to rape his character’s girlfriend in the 1994 flick. The tip of a .44 caliber bullet that had been stuck in the gun’s barrel became dislodged when a blank cartridge was fired. A police investigation of the shooting found no evidence of criminal wrongdoing.
