CHARLIZE: NOT WAITING FOR MR. RIGHT
A few years ago, Charlize Theron admitted that being a single mom had gotten in the way of finding love. “I was raising two small children, and your life just becomes very all-consuming,” the South Africa native said of kids Jackson, 9, and August, 6. Maybe that was just an excuse: Sources tell Star the F9 star doesn’t care if she ever finds her match. Single since splitting from Sean Penn in 2015, says an insider, Charlize is open to a casual date or two, but has no interest in settling down. “She doesn’t get why there’s this big pressure to have a partner,” adds the insider. “She’s happy to kick back and raise her kids and live her life without sharing it with anyone else.” That doesn’t mean the 46-year-old is some kind of hermit. On Dec. 5, Food Network chef Andrew Zimmern posted some pics from an epic bash the Oscar winner threw for her pals. “Insane food, black jack, craps, roulette,” he wrote, gushing that it was “a perfect evening.”
