FINALLY OVER!
Wed for just two years, Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy have been bitterly duking it out in court since 2012. Things weren’t any friendlier when the pair faced off before an NYC judge via Zoom on Dec. 8. According to reports, the SkinnyGirl mogul, worth an estimated $70 million, claimed that their 11-year-old daughter Bryn suffered from anxiety, hyperventilation and hives and often did not want to see her father. Despite the pair’s 50/50 custody agreement, the former Real Housewife, 51, argued she was the primary parent and should no longer pay child support to her businessman ex, 51.
In a rare concession, Jason — who in a 2017 plea deal agreed to a six-month stay-away order to have harrassing and stalking charges dismissed — backed down.
Reading from a statement, he said he would not fight the request for his own and his daughter’s well-being.
“I will not spend the remainder of Bryn’s childhood fighting as we share joint physical custody,” he said.
“Bryn knows I love her, I want her and I will always be available for our time together.” ★
