NOT HERE FOR THE HATERS

-

NO sooner had photos from the set of ...And Just Like That start popping up than the criticism of the stars’ looks began. “I have to say, it still hurts,” Kristin Davis, who originated her marriage-minded character Charlotte in the late-’90s megahit Sex and the City, lamented Dec. 7. Now 56, the mom of two admitted that she and costar Sarah Jessica Parker had no time for the hate. “Sarah and I are currently in a media blackout,” she announced, before admitting that Cynthia Nixon (a.k.a. Miranda) would keep them in the loop. “Cynthia is tougher,” she explained, adding, “So we’re like, ‘You tell us later, OK?’”

In November, Sarah, also 56, blasted the ageist attitudes toward a cast that rose to stardom as sexy 30-somethings. “There’s so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would. Never. Happen. About. A. Man,” she told Vogue. And not only in the press. “Especially on social media, everyone has something to say,” she griped. “‘She has too many wrinkles, she doesn’t have enough wrinkles.’” As Kristin says, it’s extremely “frustrating.” ★
