At a Dec. 9 benefit concert in Los Angeles, Kanye begged Kim, who was in the audience, for another chance. While performing his song “Runaway,” he added a new verse just for her. “I need you to run back to me,” Kanye rapped. “More specifically, Kimberly.”
It was just the latest in a series of public declarations aimed at the newly coupled-up 41-year-old. As Star has previously reported, Kim’s romance with the Saturday Night Live star, 28, is getting more serious by the minute, and it’s not gone over well with the Grammy winner, most recently linked to model Vinetria,
22. “Kanye can’t stand competition,” dishes the source. “He wasn’t even trying to reunite with Kim until Pete came into the picture. Now that she’s interested in someone else, he’s become obsessed with keeping their family together.”
His next target: Christmas. “Kanye knows that if he wants to get Kim back, he needs to go big,” says a source. “This isn’t just about spoiling her with designer clothes, cars and jewelry. He’s also giving her stock options, fine art and, if he can pull a few strings with pal Elon Musk, a ticket to space. Kanye wants to blow whatever Pete’s got planned out of the water.” ★
