BRITNEY’S CASH GRAB

-

Once upon a time, a teen Britney Spears’ ad for Pepsi was the biggest thing — off the field, at least — at Super Bowl XXXV. At the time, the now 40-year-old was paid a cool $8 million for the 90-second spot.

That was then. Twenty-one years and a 13-year conservatorship later, the pop princess wants those big endorsement deals back. “Britney’s relationship with Pepsi was one of the most successful things she did,” an insider tells Star. “Now she’s one of the most famous women on the planet, turning over a new leaf in life. Endorsements will allow her to keep making millions without the daily grind of performing or recording.”

Just don’t expect the embattled mom of two to make light of her legal struggle to free herself from her father Jamie Spears’ control. “She won’t be making fun of herself or doing anything for a cheap buck,” says the insider. “The type of thing that interests her is hopping on board with a health or beauty company.”★
