WHAT IS NO SUPPORT?

The silence is deafening. It doesn’t take a PhD to realize that Mayim Bialik’s old Big Bang Theory castmates are the perfect demo to support her quest to become the permanent replacement for Jeopardy!’s Alex Trebek. After all, they played a bunch of nerds on the long-running sitcom! But sources tell Star the UCLA-educated actress/neuroscientist isn’t getting any love from the old gang as she vies with Ken Jennings for the role. “Mayim hasn’t made an effort to stay in touch with the majority of the cast,” says a source. (One exception, she’s co-producing a show with Jim Parsons, “But that’s strictly work,” says the source.) And when they were all working together, she kept to herself. “There is no denying Mayim is brilliant,” the source adds. “But she can come off as superior, and that rubbed people the wrong way.” ★
