GREEDY TOM: TOO PRICEY FOR SPIDER-MAN?

-

There’s self-worth, and then there’s asking for the moon. A source tells Star Tom Holland is in danger of pricing himself out of the Spider-Man franchise by demanding a $100 million payday for signing on for more installments. “His reps are playing hardball,” says the insider. No wonder: Spider-Man: No Way Home has made almost $800 million since its December release. The 25-year-old has another key bargaining chip — his girlfriend and costar Zendaya, 25. “If Tom doesn’t come back, the franchise can kiss Zendaya goodbye as well,” notes the insider. “Either the next movie will feature both of them or it will feature neither of them.”

That’s a possibility. After all, Tom is the third bigscreen wall-crawler, after Tobey Maguire and Andrew

Garfield. “What Tom is asking for puts him at the top level of franchise actors actors — basically Daniel

Craig/James Bond territory,” explains the source. “For a part everybody agrees is bigger than any one actor.” ★
