Down for the Count! Nicolas Cage sported pale skin, slicked-back hair, long nails and sharp fangs to transform into Dracula on the set of Renfield.

The horror comedy focuses on the iconic vampire’s henchman, Renfield (Nicholas Hoult, inset), who leaves his job working for the vampire after falling in love. Cage has said he’s channeling his late father August Coppola and shedding lbs. to resemble “Thin White Duke”-era David Bowie for his reinterpretation of the classic. “I want it to pop in a unique way from how we’ve seen it played,” he’s said. “I want to look at what we can explore with movement and voice. I’m looking for that perfect tone of comedy and horror.”
