The reaction was mixed after Britney Spears posted a trove of nude shots on Instagram May 9. “Photo dump before there was a child inside me,” the pregnant pop princess, who used her hands and an emoji to cover her private parts, wrote. Some of her 41 million followers were quick to question the 40-year-old’s mental health. “She needs help! Help!” read one concerned comment, while another was more pointed: “I’m pretty sure that conservatorship was in place for a reason.”
To others, Brit was simply enjoying the freedom she finally has after having all aspects of her life controlled by her father for the past 13 years. “If she wants to pose naked,” chided one follower, “then that’s her right.” Insiders tell Star Britney and fiancé Sam Asghari are “adamant” the mom of two is doing fine. “She’s just having fun and making up for lost time,” the insider tells Star. “Why shouldn’t she express herself however she pleases?” ★
