First Man actor takes fatherhood seriously, putting his little ones first. “When you meet your kids, you realize they deserve great parents,” he’s said. “And then you have your marching orders and you have to try and become the person they deserve.”

For the 41-year-old, that means whipping up meals for the whole crew and insisting they sit down together for family dinners. “Ryan and Eva’s kitchen is always busy and is the hub of the house,” says an insider. “Meals are a social occasion for everyone. It’s a time when the girls can really express themselves and share ideas.” He gushes, “I never knew that life could be this fun and great.”

“My kids are growing up so fast,” says Ryan. “I need to keep an eye on the clock in a way I never used to.”
