The Around Town calendar is a free service offered by the Starkville Daily News. The calendars runs daily as space allows. Announcements should be submitted via e-mail to life@starkvilledailynews.com by 2 p.m. the day prior to publication and be no more than 50 words in length. ◆ On the Grill at Parker-McGill — Parker-McGill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will host a weekly “On the Grill” every Saturday. Free food will be provided and visitors can meet the Parker-McGill staff
◆ Noxubee Nature Store — The Refuge’s Nature Store will hold an open house and gigantic sale from 9 am until 4 pm on June 17. T shirts, hats, and nature related items will be available
◆ Noxubee Paper Cutting Workshop — Noxubee Refuge’s Artist in Residence, Gillian Furniss, will hold a paper cutting workshop June 17, 9 am to 3:30 pm for youth 12 to 18, at the Environmental Education Center on the Refuge. Canoeing, hiking, sketching, and paper cutting will be part of the workshop. Space is limited so please call 323-5548 to register
