Sisters Jo Alice Bigham, Betty Lou Brooks (Cedric), and Faye Ray (William). Brother in law Monroe W.M. Dewberry. Grandchild­ren Shannon Williams (Ramona), Jason Williams, Renee Vick, Jim Oswalt, Shelly Oswalt Reed (Scotty), Luke Oswalt, Tabatha Dewberry Watkins (Greg), Nancy Kay Dewberry, Billy Williams, Amy Williams, Mitch Jackson, Misty Jackson Busby, Anthony Jackson, Samuel Jackson, Hannah Jackson, Timothy Jackson, 21 great grandchild­ren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 5:00-7:00pm at Welch Funeral Home in Maben, MS. Services will be held Monday, September 11, 2017 at 2:00pm at Double Springs Baptist Church, Maben-Sturgis Road, with burial immediatel­y following at the Clear Springs Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

He received his B.S. from Jackson State University and his Masters in Science from MSU. He served as a Systems Administra­tor for the College of Computer Science at Mississipp­i State University. John loved a good book, a fast car, and most of all his family. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

John is survived by his wife Robyn Ye, and their two children: son Sean Ye and daughter Aria Ye of Starkville, Mississipp­i.

Visitation will be Monday September 11, 2017 from 9:00 am till 11:00 am at Welch Funeral home.
