AROUND TOWN ANNOUNCEMENT POLICIES
The Around Town calendar is a free service offered by the Starkville Daily News. The calendars runs daily as space allows. Announcements should be submitted via e-mail to life@starkvilledailynews.com by 2 p.m. the day prior to publication and be no more than 50 words in length. Religious events will be listed Saturdays on the Faith page. Recurring events will run in Around Town on Sundays only. Onetime events will run as usual in Around Town Monday through Friday.

◆ Alcoholics Anonymous — Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet every Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
◆ Casserole Kitchen — The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection hosts a casserole kitchen every Saturday at Parish hall at 11:30 a.m.
◆ On the Grill at Parker-McGill — Parker-McGill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will host a weekly “On the Grill” every Saturday. Free food will be provided and visitors can meet the Parker-McGill staff
◆ Run United 5K — Run United 5K Kickoff Rae will begin 8 a.m. on Sept. 23. at the Starkville Sportsplex. Registration is $25 for early registration, $30 for late registration, and $35 the day of the race. The United Way is looking for volunteers to help. ◆ OCHS Annual Rabies and Microchip Clinic — The Oktibbeha County Humane Society is hosting their 3rd Annual Rabies and microchip on Sept. 30th from 1pm-3pm at 510 Industrial Park Road in Starkville.
