The Around Town calendar is a free service offered by the Starkville Daily News. The calendars runs daily as space allows. ◆ Alcoholics Anonymous — Alcoholics Anonymous will now meet every Saturday at 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

◆ Casserole Kitchen — The Episcopal Church of the Resurrecti­on hosts a casserole kitchen every Saturday at Parish hall at 11:30 a.m.

◆ On the Grill at Parker-McGill — Parker-McGill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will host a weekly “On the Grill” every Saturday. Free food will be provided and visitors can meet the Parker-McGill staff

◆ Run United 5K — Run United 5K Kickoff Rae will begin 8 a.m. on Sept. 23. at the Starkville Sportsplex. Registrati­on is $25 for early registrati­on, $30 for late registrati­on, and $35 the day of the race. The United Way is looking for volunteers to help.
