QB Club bowl meeting set
The Starkville Quarterback Club will have a bowl game meeting, its final meeting of the season, tonight at the Starkville Country Club.
Former Mississippi State lineman Jan Lee Gwin, who has served on the Liberty Bowl committee, including as president, will speak about how bowl committees operate and the changes that have taken place in bowls in the past 20 years.
In addition, Bo Hemphill, MSU deputy athletic director for development, will discuss the recent head football coaching search and hire for the Bulldogs.
This week’s meeting will be sponsored by the Starkville Cafe and the Camphouse Restaurant. The social hour will begin at 6 p.m., dinner at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting at 7 p.m.. The meal will include ham, sweet potato casserole, lima beans, salad, bread, and dessert.
