The art show is sponsored by The Chalet, CopyCow and the Veranda. A percentage of the proceeds from the show goes to the Del Rendon Foundation to further promote art and music in the community.

The goal of the Del Rendon Foundation is to spread awareness of Rendon's passion for art and music while supporting local and regional art and music awareness and creation. Rendon passed away Sept. 4, 2005, and lived in Starkville at the time of his passing.

According to a release from the foundation, Rendon was a talented artist and musician, and his love for life and compassion for others touched many.
