Choctaw County falls in baseball

ACKERMAN – The Choctaw County Chargers dropped a 4-2 decision to the Nettleton Tigers Monday night to finish with a 7-3 record in Class 3A, Region 4.

Tanner Threadgill hit a two-run home run for the only scores for the Chargers in the seventh inning.

Despite the loss, Choctaw County will host a first round playoff game on Friday night.
