ICC base­ball play­ers honored

FULTON – Five play­ers from the Itawamba Com­mu­nity Col­lege base­ball team have been selected to the 2018 Mis­sis­sippi As­so­ci­a­tion of Com­mu­nity and Ju­nior Col­leges All-State teams.

Sopho­more catcher Hunter Nabors selected to the first­team.

The Mon­te­vallo, Ala. na­tive was sec­ond on the team with a .353 bat­ting av­er­age. He had 48 hits with seven go­ing for dou­bles and was tied for a team-high six home runs in 136 at­bats. He fin­ished the year with 31 runs, 28 RBI, .486 on-base per­cent­age and .537 slug­ging per­cent­age.

In­fielder and pitcher Kyle Crig­ger, pitcher Hous­ton Hard­ing, pitcher Hunter Hughes and out­fielder LaBryant Sid­dell were selected to the sec­ond-team.
