◆ Starkville Vet­er­ans Day Pa­rade — KMG Cre­ations Dance, Fit­ness and Pro­duc­tions will host Starkville's first Vet­er­ans Day Pa­rade Satur­day, November 10, 2018 at 10:00a.m. The theme for the pa­rade is “Hon­or­ing our Vet­er­ans.” There will be a mu­si­cal tribute fol­low­ing the pa­rade at 11:00 a.m. on the steps of the Ok­tibbeha County Court­house. Spe­cial guests: The Starkville High School JROTC, The Kayla Marie Project, singer/song­writer Re­bekah Far­ley, and more. Feel free to bring your lawn chairs.

◆ On the Grill at Parker-McGill — Parker-McGill Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will host a weekly “On the Grill” every Satur­day. Free food will be pro­vided and visi­tors can meet the Park­erMcGill staff.


◆ Do­na­tions for Home­less Stu­dents — Starkville Ok­tibbeha School Dis­trict's Project HELP is seek­ing do­na­tions of hy­giene sup­plies, school sup­plies, school uni­forms (new or used in good con­di­tion), socks and un­der­gar­ments for home­less stu­dents.
