Scottish concert at the Three Generations Tea Room

Three Generations Tea Room will host its first home concert with Scottish musicians Alan Reid and Rob van Sante on Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

The duo's music is traditional Celtic.

Tea Room owner Paige Lawe said their music resembles blues as it is old classic story-telling.

“You know we have blues singers that tell a story of trains and pick-up trucks and broken hearts,” she said.

Reid and said are formerly with the Battlefield Band and perform modern and traditional folk.

Reid is a singer, pianist and guitarist while Sante is a singer and guitarist.

During their stent with the Battlefield Band they were known for their story-telling element.

The duo are currently on tour in the south and the Three Generations Tea Room is one of their stops.

Light snacks will be served for the concert, and guests are welcome to bring their own beverage of choice.

The cost of the evening is $15 and all contributions are given to the musicians.
