Reid took over for LSU in the overtime period. He scored seven of the nine points for the Tigers in the extra frame to sink Mississippi State.

“That was an absolutely gut-wrenching loss,” MSU head coach Ben Howland said.

It's a quick turnaround for the Bulldogs as they look to bounce back. MSU hosts No. 5 Kentucky at home on Saturday at noon.
