of the Soul Community Event — The Mississipp­i Golden Triangle Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. will host its annual, “Taste of the Soul” community event on Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 3:00 - 5:00pm at the Starkville Sports Complex. This year's program will feature keynote speaker, Secretary Mike Espy. Admission is free. This year's program will honor “The Queen of Soul,” Mrs. Aretha Franklin. A southern hat procession is one of this year's featured events. Members of the community are encouraged to participat­e. Let's see who has the fanciest hat in town! Arrive early and bring the family! Light refreshmen­ts will be served.
