Logan Boss and Tiffany Flynn have each spent the last five years dedicated to Mississippi State women's track and field.

With their MSU careers nearing an end, Boss and Flynn will get the chance to represent the Bulldogs at the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championships one last time beginning today in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Boss and Flynn are two Bulldogs with high hopes as the SECS get underway. While the two compete, they'll also be soaking things in.

“It's bittersweet,” Boss said. “It's been fun and we've been here a long, long time, but it's been a great ride and I'm glad I was able to be here all five years. To know it's my last one, it tugs at the heartstrings a little bit, but I'm excited to see what I can do with it.”

Boss and Flynn are two of four MSU women in the top five in the SEC in events entering today. Boss is tied for second in the conference in the high jump. She has already claimed a high-jump SEC title before back during the 2018 indoor season. She will look to add an outdoor crown to her list of accolades this week.

“(The indoor high jump and outdoor high jump) isn't exactly the same, but it's a nice little thought in the back of my head that (I won the indoor high-jump) last year,” Boss said. “I definitely like having that in the back of my mind and having some confidence going into the meet.”

Boss is one of just two women in this week's field to to have ever cleared 1.92 meters in the high jump – indoors or outdoors.
