Eupora has season end with a road loss
CHARLESTON – The Eupora Eagles had their football season come to an end in the first round of the Class 2A playoff with a 46-18 road loss to Charleston.
Eupora finished with a winning record of 6-5 record in the first season under the leadership of head coach Brad Gray.
Charleston scored the first 16 points of the game before Tabb Powell was able to catch a 30-yard pass from Ty Murphy to give the Eagles points.
Homesteading Charleston were able to move out to a 38-6 lead after three quarters.
Khyrin Morris scored the second touchdown for Eupora with a 1-yard run with 9:15 remaining in the fourth quarter.
After Charleston got its final touchdown, the Eagles finished the game on a strong note with a 64-yard burst for a score.
