Career Expo returns to MSU for spring session

Mississipp­i State's bi-annual Career Expo is returning this spring with plenty of opportunit­ies for students to land internship­s, co-ops and part-time or full-time jobs.

Hosted by MSU'S Career Center, the free event takes place Feb. 9-10 from noon to 4 p.m. at The Mill at MSU Conference Center.

Day one of the event will involve companies seeking engineerin­g and technical majors, while day two will include companies seeking all majors.

With major companies including C Spire, PACCAR, Frito-lay and Internatio­nal Paper attending, students of all background­s will be given a chance at future career opportunit­ies. Participan­ts should wear business profession­al attire and bring copies of their resume.

MSU'S Career Center helps students prepare for interviews and refine their resumes, along with offering a range of services to provide students and alumni with the tools to succeed after graduation.
