Mrs. Sara Jo Forrester, 77, passed away on March 21, 2023, at her residence in Pheba. Sara Jo was born on July 29, 1945, in Una, to the late Woodrow and Ivodale Mclemore. She worked for Monte Glove in Pheba and Maben. She was a beautician having owned and operated her own beauty shop for 40 years. Being a sports enthusiast herself, she enjoyed watching her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren in all their sporting events. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and flower gardening. She attended Pheba Baptist Church. She married Glen Allen Forrester on June 3, 1967, in West Point. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, great-grandmothe­r, sister, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marnie Hill and Sandra Stewart Visitation will be Friday, March 24, 2023, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at Pheba Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Terry Rhodes officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery in Pheba. Wall, Cliff Wall, John David Blansett, Mike Hill, and Sam White. Honorary Pallbearer­s will be the Nurses and Staff of North Mississipp­i Medical Center Hospice and her many friends in the Pheba Community.
