Street Rodder - - Tech -

Although it was original, Glen rebuilt it as a custom, with an Art Morrison frame and suspension parts. An Edelbrock/Musi 555 crate engine with ProFlo XT induction and a TREMEC six-speed came later. Gabe’s Custom Interior upholstered the Lexus bench seats in two-tone leather. The Flaming River steering wheels and Dakota Digital gauges are contemporary but f it its style. The gold and cream body retains the hardware and trim for a resto appearance, modernized by Schott Americana f ive-spokes and meaty Michelin tires measuring 335/30ZR20 and 245/40ZR18. “The color brings them in,” Glen says. “Then the interior and the sound of the 720hp engine.”
