TECH TIP RADIATOR AIRFLOW

Street Rodder - - Tech -

Cooling fans are far more efficient when pulling air rather than pushing air through the radiator.

Try to always mount the fan assembly on the engine side of the radiator (not always possible) for maximum flow. Be sure your fan shroud has flaps that open when high-speed highway driving is done so that extra blast of high-speed air can get through.
