Ididit Car Show Open to All

The ididit Car Show & Open House, sched­uled for Satur­day, Septem­ber 15, in Te­cum­seh, Michi­gan, has been a draw for ’85-and-ear­lier hot rods, street rods, mus­cle cars, trucks, and sports cars since the first event 27 years ago. Re­flect­ing the chang­ing en­thu­si­ast car hobby, the pop­u­lar end-of-sum­mer event now wel­comes all show-qual­ity ve­hi­cles.

“We are ex­tremely ex­cited to open up our an­nual car show to all of the great ve­hi­cles in Michi­gan and through­out the Great Lakes re­gion, re­gard­less of year, make, or model,” Ted Keat­ing of ididit said. “We want ev­ery­one who loves beau­ti­ful cars and trucks to join us in cel­e­brat­ing the hot rod­ding lifestyle.”

Ac­tiv­i­ties will in­clude fa­cil­ity tours, a ven­dor tent, food trucks, a DJ, and a food drive (please bring canned goods to con­trib­ute). The Le­nawee Hu­mane So­ci­ety will raf­fle a cus­tom golf cart fea­tur­ing an ididit steer­ing col­umn. Cus­tom- made tro­phies will be awarded in the fol­low­ing cat­e­gories: ’48-Older Street Rod, ’49-’64 Car, ’65-’79 Car, ’80-Newer Car, ’48-’66 Truck, ’67-’87 Truck, ’88-Newer Truck,
