Ford Tin to LS Head

The folks at Trans-Dapt Performance Products are going to raise a few eyebrows with this new product. “The popularity of the GM LS engine swap is clearly here to stay. In fact, its appeal reaches far beyond the General’s vehicles, and many LS engines are finding their way into Ford street rod and hot rod builds. If you’re one of these rebel Ford owners, you can go a long way toward concealing your sins by using Trans-Dapt’s SB Ford 260-351W adapter kit and then installing some old-school, SB Ford, or Cobra valve covers.

Flathead Steel Mains

In its constant quest to make the Ford flathead a stronger, better engine, H&H Flatheads has developed billet steel mains caps for the 59A and the 8BA flathead Ford V-8s. Mike Herman, owner of H&H Flatheads stated, “These caps are ideal for beefing up the bottom end of a flathead that is intended for competition or street use.” Machined from billet steel in the U.S., these billet mains caps are available in two different styles to fit both 59A or 8BA engines and they come complete with ARP hardware.
