Be on the lookout for a wild Suburban project scheduled to debut soon. Bryan Harrison of Harrison’s Rod and Custom in Afton, Tennessee, found a ’62 GMC Suburban near Kansas City, Missouri, in the summer of 2015 and has spent the past 3 1⁄2 years creating what might just be the coolest Suburban to hit the show circuit. The Custom Series three-seater features a rare trim level and belongs to Bryan’s parents, Gene and Judy. The Harrisons’ hauler has received a full frame-off, rotisserie rebuild to become a one-of-a-kind plus-sized custom. Completion is scheduled for spring with a potential debut at the NSRA Street Rod Nationals South in Knoxville in May. Designer/ illustrator Eric Brockmeyer’s renderings provide a sneak peek at what Bryan will be unveiling soon.
