Renaissance Ram

THIS SWEET ’13 RAM 1500 ST BELONGS TO CHRIS GRIFFIN FROM SOUTH CAROLINA. The truck has been his daily driver since he bought it new in 2013, and he’s been adding parts ever since. On the performance side, the 3.6L V-6 engine has been outfitted with a new K&N cold air intake to let the engine breathe better. At the other end of the line, a custom cat-back dual exhaust with black tips keeps the Ram looking sharp and sounding even better.

For creature comforts, Chris has added a Kenwood head unit with a Rockford Fosgate amp—pushing six speakers and a Kicker amp, with two 10-inch subwoofers behind the seat—giving him quality sound for every occasion. Meanwhile, an aftermarket leather interior package has him sitting pretty while giving the interior smooth style. Multi-color under-body LEDS set the truck apart, and painted emblems and brake calipers joined with Spyder Halo headlights, LED taillights and PIAA driving lights with HID bulbs fit the 1500’s theme. To complete the build, a set of 22-inch custom wheels wrapped in 305/40R22 rubbers was installed, and the entire truck was lowered with a Belltech kit, which included racing shocks to drop it 2 inches in the front and 4 in the rear.

In the end, this clean build shows that the best daily drivers speak for themselves, with black and matte accents that come together for a cohesive appearance. With Chris’ list of new ideas always growing, we can’t wait to see where this Ram goes next.
