OLLIE IS NOW HAPPENING
AN ’85 C-10 THAT WAS A BACKBURNER PROJECT FOR SQUAREBODY SPECIALISTS HAS FINALLY BEEN GREEN-LIT FOR COMPLETION, AND IT WILL BE EVEN WILDER THAN ORIGINALLY PLANNED UNDER THE DIRECTION OF NEW OWNER BRYAN EVERETT. The truck, which has been named Ollie, is currently under a full frame-off rotisserie rebuild at Squarebody Specialists, with a 525-hp LS3 backed by a 6L80E tranny.
Other build details include a static 6/8 drop, tubbed bed, tubbed front end with new Sloshtubz Mild Tubz (which Squarebody Specialists assisted in developing), Wilwood Prospindles, Wilwood 16-inch brakes, and 20x11 and 20x13 one-off Pro Touring wheels.
The interior will be kept comfortable with a Vintage Air setup and custom stitching by Recovery Room. Once the rest of the work has been completed, Bo Vescio at Vescio’s Restoration and Customs will handle the body and paintwork.
We expect to see Bryan’s C-10 at SEMA, at which point we’ll hopefully have more to share.
