With the driver’s-side leaf spring underneath the axle, the axle and stand were pushed to the driver’s side and then lifted in order to slide back over on top of the passenger-side leaf spring. This process took a lot of muscle, but it saved time and headaches compared to alternative methods of repositioning the axle.
