The area where the factory bump stop was removed was cleaned up with a grind wheel and spraypainted to prevent rust. A pilot hole was drilled where the included replacement bump stop would be positioned. This much shorter stop will allow as much rear suspension travel as possible without metal-on-metal bottoming out until Maxtrac’s frame notch kit is installed.
