Superchips Inc. MAX Microtuner is a specially programmed aftermarket performance microchip that you plug into the port of your onboard engine management system’s processor to momentarily enhance either performance or economy. In most applications, the Superchips MAX Microtuner also increases fuel economy due to the fact that both engine and transmission efficiency is increased.

“This is all done through calibration without changing any hard parts,” said Superchips General Manager Adam Raper. “The bottom line is that we’re able to run less rpm through these optimized programs while increasing overall boost and horsepower! We try to add other user-friendly options, as many options as feasible!”

Ergonomically designed to comfortably fit in the human hand, Superchips MAX Microtuner measures approximately 3 1/2 x 8 x 2 inches. These units are fully warranted and are equipped with what is known as a DTC code reader, which allows the operator to either troubleshoot and/or identify potential problems using the supplied DTC code interpretation book supplied with each Superchips MAX Microtuner sold, as well as be able to reprogram your GM processor with any of the three VXD Strategy tuning programs already mentioned. The Superchips MAX Microtuner was developed at the company’s state-of-the-art Sanford, Florida, dynamometer facility, and the product is continuously being refined to be optimally compatible with each and every year’s ensuing model release.
