Street Trucks

Our Lifestyle

- Peace, Jason “ODB” Ballard

THE TERM “TIMELESS” DESCRIBES MANY THINGS, INCLUDING A BUILD THAT IS NOT AFFECTED BY THE PASSAGE OF TIME OR CHANGES IN FASHION. As a builder, you strive to have at least one timeless build on your resume, if not more. The truck community lost someone with a well-accomplished resume in early February. We at Street Trucks are deeply saddened by Mitch Henderson’s passing.

Mitch was a “truck guy” through and through with an amazing vision. His famous ’92 Chevy 1500, later dubbed

“Cha Ching,” was featured in our pages both in September 2001 and again on the cover January 2004. His contributions to the community were tremendous. He inspired individuals—guys and ladies—to be a part of the scene. Although Mitch is no longer with us, his legacy and impacts will live on for many generations.

If you’re interested in learning more about Mitch Henderson, please tune in to Our Lifestyle Podcast episode 47 via the Podbean app. To Mitch’s friends, family, colleagues and clubmates in the scene, please accept our condolences from Street Trucks. #Ripmitchhenderson
