HEATSHIELD ARMOR IS THE MOST EFFECTIVE, EFFICIENT EXHAUST INSULATION MATERIAL ON THE MARKET. It reduces radiant heat from exhaust and header tubes up to 70%, increasing engine performance while significantly reducing heat exposure underneath the vehicle. Now customers will have an even easier installation: Muffler Armor and Header Armor kits are available with HP Power Anchors that secure the insulation to exhaust headers, mufflers and pipes. HP Power Anchors are made from high-temperature stainless steel alloy and designed for the easy installation and securing of Heatshield Armor exhaust insulation. They also allow for easy removal and reinstallation of Heatshield Armor when necessary for vehicle maintenance or other reasons. High-temp Inconel wire is included for securing everything once the HP Power Anchors are installed using the included rivets.
